Tracia is a modern day renaissance woman. A long time student of the arts. She began her artistic expression at birth, began artistic studies at the age of eleven when she started school in New York City. Throughout her childhood she developed her interests in the visual arts & went on to receive a BFA in photography & an MPS in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute. Since then, Tracia has traveled to twenty-two countries photographing different elements of culture.
Tracia originally hails from Xaymaca (Jamaica), where she learned early on that one can dictate the length of their life based on what they feed their physical bodies & souls. This became her personal mantra, allowing her to become a Fine Art Photographer, farmer, chef, designer & builder of ah Cup a Tea, tea shop in Kingston, Jamaica, however the economy prevented it from staying open for more than 13 months. During the fight to keep her tea shop (a holistic art haven) open, Tracia created a series of 70 plus hand made coloured stencils & made to order prints in an effort to raise money & awareness for her mission at the tea shop.
